Photo Orienteering Game is suitable for everybody: tourists and locals, team building, stag or birthday parties etc. Photo quest is a great idea to have fun and discover the city.
For the orienteering, you will need
- Team — 2 to 4 people.
- Mobile phone with access to the Internet and a camera with a flash unit. Make sure it is properly charged.
- Comfortable footwear and clothes for the weather.
How the game is held?
You will get the package at the start. It includes a map with points and photos of objects. Objects are graffiti, monuments or storefronts.
Your objective is to make a route through the points, to come in the marked places and to find objects. You have to take the picture of them.
You have to visit as many places as possible during the game. Your team can get additional points completing additional text and interactive tasks.
Teams should finish in two hours. If team started the game at 12:10, it has to finish no later than 14:10. After game time is stopped players show photos of objects found to the host.
The fastest team with higher score wins.
Exemplary schedule of an event
12:00 — Host and participants meet near the Riga Congress Centre (Rīgas Kongresu nams).
12:05 — Pregame briefing. Team formation. Instructions on the rules of the game.
12:10 — The game starts.
14:10 — All teams finish the game.
14:20 — Scoring, issuance of commemorative diplomas, commemorative photos.
The game can be started at a different convenient for you time.
English, Latvian or Russian.
