Challenge Quest at sports games

A unique adventure game developed specifically for a client and BORDO Agency. The game was attended by 1,150 guests from all over Latvia. The tasks were selected based on the location (Konferenču un atpūtas komplekss Ratnieki) and the chosen theme.

I was faced with an unusual task: to organise a game for a large number of people to play simultaneously without using the internet. The players were divided into teams of 25–30 people. Each team was assigned a referee to coordinate their actions and provide support.

The game consisted of 30 challenges. Each team performed one or two challenges at a time. As soon as they were completed, the judge gave the next ones. To prevent teams from interfering with each other, a specific order of completion was set for each group. To ensure that players could always find something to their taste, a wide variety of tasks were included: fun photo and video tasks requiring creativity and improvisation, puzzles and non-standard logic and attention tasks, sports activities, etc.

Exemplary schedule of an event

15:00 — We meet at your venue. I prepare game props and tasks.
16:00 — Team formation. Briefing.
16:15 — Start of the quest.
18:00 — All teams finish the game.
18:30 — All teams awarding by diplomas, group photo.

The game can be started at another time of your choice.

In-game materials — rules and tasks — English, Latvian, Russian, Lithuanian, Estonian, German. Any other on request.

Host — I speak English, Latvian and Russian.

Calculated individually depending on the number of participants, task selection and the game venue.
