Art Nouveau — architectural style of the early twentieth century, notable for the diverse and luxury facades of buildings. Riga is considered the northern capital of Jugendstil. Such concentration of buildings made in this style could not be found anywhere in the world.

You will enjoy the beauty of Kronvalda park and learn the stories of the people who lived in its surroundings.

City Quest is a great opportunity for guests and locals to have fun and explore Riga center from a new perspective. This walking treasure hunt game is perfectly tailored for corporate events and team building, family days out, stag and hen parties…

You will need for the quest

• Team — 2 to 5 people. If more, it is possible to split you into teams.
• Mobile phone with internet access and camera. Make sure it is properly charged.
• Comfortable footwear and clothes for the weather.

How does the game work?

The game consists of 12 levels. Each level is a task you are to solve in a limited time. By completing it, you will get an answer to input on the game’s website. Answers may look different: stickers, signboards or monument inscription. You will be told what to look for. If your answer is correct, you will get the next task.

The puzzles are not complicated, so you can play with children, and even without prior knowledge of the city. To make the game more dynamic, you will receive hints regularly. They will contain the exact answer location, the logic of the solution, etc.

The game is not limited in time, but approximately takes 2 hours.

The team that completes all tasks faster and more accurately wins.

Exemplary schedule of an event

12:00 — We meet near the Riga Congress Centre (Rīgas Kongresu nams).
12:05 — Team formation. Briefing.
12:10 — Start of the quest.
14:10 — Finish.
14:20 — Scoring, awarding diplomas, commemorative photos.

The game can be started at another time of your choice.
